We design systems to control both interior and exterior mechanical noise and vibration for office buildings, research facilities, hospitals, libraries, schools, and multifamily buildings.
Whether your building is still in the design phase or is an existing facility, Phoenix Noise & Vibration is able to control unwanted noise from building HVAC systems. These services include both commercial and residential applications; everything from bedrooms to boardrooms, recording studios to theaters, private offices to libraries.
In the design phase, we are available to review and analyze drawings, equipment specifications, and manufacturer's sound data in order to calculate, in accordance with ASHRAE standards, resultant noise levels in any room. Should levels exceed desired design goals, stated as either Noise Criteria (NC) or Room Criteria (RC), modifications to system specifications and layouts are suggested to meet stated goals.
For existing facilities, Phoenix Noise & Vibration is capable of measuring existing unwanted noise levels, reviewing construction layouts, and offering remedial designs for noise and/or vibration control.
Our specialties include air handling units, cooling towers, emergency generators, chillers, pumps, compressors, and heat pumps.
